Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Malaysia/Singapore; the successful candidate will directly lead and supervise the Singapore Distribution Centre Finance Team of two subordinates. He/she will control and financially optimize the company’s business and its services to distributors.

The responsibilities include the preparation of annual and semi annual budget, variance analysis and budget data, and liaising this through to the regional office and headquarters in the USA. He/she will implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures for various financial/operational areas, meet corporate finance reporting deadlines, as well as motivate and update subordinate skills through training, coaching and support. The successful candidate must develop a rapport with key players to support the role and duties as an Senior Accountant, as well as gaining an understanding of the company’s culture and business.

The Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting – Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
• 5-7 years Accounting experience, at a supervisory level, preferably with an international company or FMCG company.
• Strong local Accounting and Tax knowledge. Familiarity with US GAAP plus SOX Compliance will be an added advantage
• Computer literate with strong MS Excel and Accounting Software skills
• Mature personality – able to work independently with good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
